NEWS Congratulations Graduates!

I would like to introduce you to Amanda Murano and Lindsey Dvorak, recent graduates from Center Point Yoga School. On February 18, 2018 their hard work and dedication paid off and they completed their 200 hour Hatha yoga teacher certification. They have worked hard and have kept their goals in sight and I am excited for what the future holds for them! I feel grateful for being able to be part of other journey of yoga, of life. 

Center Point Yoga School is back in session with a group graduating in may 2018. If you are thinking about doing this, we are taking applications for training beginning in August, 2018, download he application here!

Hello!  By way of introduction, my name is Lindsey.  Undergoing yoga teacher training at Center Point Yoga School was the (best) decision (ever).  I love physical movement and I think we're all meant to move as a form of expression.  Yoga, in particular, brings me to life in exhilarating ways.  When I'm practicing yoga, I can connect with my body and music in a way that makes me feel strong, empowered, and confident.  After meeting Wendy, I immediately "clicked" with her teaching style and knew this program was right for me (and it was better than I could have ever imagined)!  I learned so much about yoga, myself, and others. 

Initially entering the program, I was unsure how I wanted to use the learnings; but, personally speaking, I will use the lessons in my daily life - specifically, how to express myself creatively, honestly, and kindly.  For others, I want to focus on private prenatal yoga in Boulder, CO (where I now live). 

A random fact about me: I lived in

three states this past year (California, Florida, and now Colorado).  Before that, I was in New York by way of Spain by way of Minnesota by way of Wisconsin (where I'm originally from).  I think I am pausing the gypsy life for a bit and "Namaste" in Colorado - haha.  - Lindsey

My training came at a perfect time in my life. I was constantly contemplating and stressing about my future. One thing my training has taught me, is to stay in the present. I have a better understanding through the physical, mental, and spiritual aspect of yoga through the assignments, exercises, and practice teaching. I have slowly incorporated this into my life because I realize now that I am content in my life right now and take things day by day. I hope to also incorporate this into my teaching because I really believe it is something that everyone struggles with. My training has also definitely brought me outside of my comfort zone. As uncomfortable as it is, stepping out of your comfort zone helps you grow the most. I truly believe that this journey has helped me grow tremendously as a person.

For my final project, I designed a yoga program for the specific needs and conditioning of golfers. Living in Florida everyone I know golfs. I want share how beneficial yoga can be to healing injuries , conditioning. and improving  their swing. I am excited help people through yoga!
